Earthquake of 6.1 SR magnitude in Keerom Region, Feels Until Jayapura

The quake is located at 3.78 south latitude, 140.57 east longitude or 52 km southwest of Keerom.


The epicenter was 106 km deep and had no tsunami potential.

"The earthquake is quite long, around 20 to 30 seconds, and quite strong," said Melani, a resident of Kampkey, Abepura District, Jayapura City.
